Dr Kevin Vince Fernando, PhD

Our President & CEO

Kevin may be described as a continuous learner, senior global business leader, author, educator and entrepreneur. He started SOE in 2007 as platform to leverage his experience, learning, network and passion for strategy and business resilience. He brings with him more than 25 years of full time industrial experience having worked in both Asian and Western Multinationals across various industries. His cross functional experience in his earlier years and his more recent general management roles with full P&L responsibility help him appreciate the practical realities of competing and leading cross-cultural teams in a global context in a business environment that is dynamic and volatile.

He holds Doctoral degrees majoring in Business Administration with specialization in Strategy, Human Resource Management and Strategic Operations. In addition, Kevin has Master’s degrees in Professional Accounting, Operations & Quality Management, Management & Strategic HRM. His Bachelor’s degree is in International Business and he holds various professional qualifications and certification in areas of International Marketing, Sales, Finance, Quality and IT. He is a senior member with various professional bodies in Asia, USA, Australia and UK.

Kevin is the author of seven books, a regular speaker at regional conferences, published multiple articles in various industry and professional journals. He has been actively engaged in part-time training and consulting work for various organizations globally. His differentiation as a business improvement partner is grounded in his ability to adapt established management models and concepts into practical tools that facilitate effective implementation.
